BCI2000 has been in development since 2000 in a collaborative project led by our group. Since then, we organized a number of workshops on the theoretical concepts and practical use of the software. These workshops usually contain hands-on user tutorials, in which participants learn about beginning and intermediate concepts of the software by interacting with BCI2000-based BCI systems, and lectures on advanced concepts.

11th BCI2000 Workshop

The 11th BCI2000 Workshop will be held at the Asilomar Conference Center at Pacific Grove, California, on May 30, 2016.

10th BCI2000 Workshop

The 10th BCI2000 Workshop was held at the Asilomar Conference Center at Pacific Grove, California, from June 2-3, 2013, immediately prior to the Fifth International BCI Meeting. The workshop was attended by 44 participants

9th BCI2000 Workshop

The Ninth BCI2000 Workshop was held in conjunction with the Winter School and Conference on Computational Aspects of Neural Engineering from Dec 12-21, 2012, in Bangalore, India. It was hosted by Dr. Govindan Rangarajan and Dr. Rajesh Rao. The workshop was attended by 32 participants.

8th BCI2000 Workshop

The Eight BCI2000 Workshop was held in conjunction with the Brain Computer Interfacing workshop from May 18-19, 2011, in Utrecht, The Netherlands. It was hosted by Dr. Nick Ramsey and Dr. Erik Aarnoutse. The workshop was attended by 41 participants.

7th BCI2000 Workshop

The Seventh BCI2000 Workshop took place at the Asilomar Conference Center in Pacific Grove, California, in conjunction with the Fourth International BCI Meeting.

6th BCI2000 Workshop

The Sixth BCI2000 Workshop took place at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, on Dec. 6, 2009, in conjunction with the Beijing BCI 2009 Symposium.

5th BCI2000 Workshop

The Fifth BCI2000 Workshop took place at The Sagamore Resort in Lake George, NY, on Oct. 1-3, 2009, in conjunction with the International Conference on Advances in Electrocorticography.

4th BCI2000 Workshop

The Fourth BCI2000 Workshop was held in conjunction with the BrainGain workshop from July 3-6, 2008, in Utrecht, The Netherlands. It was hosted by Dr. Nick Ramsey and Dr. Erik Aarnoutse. The workshop was attended by 44 participants. We received a lot of very positive feedback on the BCI2000 in general and the workshop specifically.

3rd BCI2000 Workshop

The Third BCI2000 Workshop was held on December 5-6, 2007, in Rome, Italy, right after the NeuroMath workshop “Advanced methods for the estimation of human brain activity and connectivity” (Dec. 4-5). It was hosted by Fondazione Santa Lucia and organized by Dr. Febo Cincotti. The workshop was a huge success and was attended by more than 45 participants.

2nd BCI2000 Workshop

The Intl. BCI Workshop and Second BCI2000 Workshop were held on July 23-24, 2007, as part of the 12th International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) in Beijing, China. It was attended by 45 participants.
